Valuing African Lives Association (VALO), also referred to as VAL Organization, is a non-profit, non-governmental and humanitarian association established to promote the value, dignity, protection, empowerment and well-being of African people and communities.
VALO was founded from the conviction that every African life has inherent value, dignity and worth.
We work to support vulnerable individuals, families, children, young people, women, persons with disabilities, elderly persons and disadvantaged communities through humanitarian assistance, social support, community development, education, livelihoods, psychosocial support, empowerment and other lawful charitable interventions.
Our Vision
To contribute to an Africa where every life is valued, every person is treated with dignity, vulnerable individuals and families are supported, and communities have the opportunity to become peaceful, inclusive, resilient and self-reliant.
Our Mission
To protect, support, and empower vulnerable communities across Africa. We deliver vital humanitarian aid and livelihood programs. Fostering dignity, inclusion, and lasting resilience for women, youth, children, elderly persons, and people with disabilities.
